I'm 17 now.

I'm going to be dumping all my animations I had to make for school this year soon. It's not incredible, really. Irony, it's complicated. I was going nostalgia reading all of my old comments left on my page, I really wish I could have continued to animate, and the thing that happened never happened, I can't imagine what things would be like, everything would be peachy clean, amazing. I don't know if any of the XX amount of watchers of mine will say anything like they have been.

It was a pretty amazing feeling, I'd have to say the best experience is uploading or submitting a piece of artwork after crunching in the last hours worth of work before I go to bed late, then actually going to sleep. Waking up, turning on my computer. See what comments and other feedback I would get on them. Newgrounds was immensely fun with the small timespan of a little bit over a month I had really began to animate in the style i had been looking for for for for so long.

I don't really know if any of you will remember in the style I animated, or in the manner of how I did it, but a few know... a few. It wasn't amazing, seeing how I originally started animating all because of:

:iconkite-ride:

He is an amazing artist in my opinion, I really loved his piece RUSH. I love everything he does, though he hasent really been doing anything lately. He has put a new animation on newgrounds which I really enjoyed. But back on track now.I originally saw it on FLASHPLAYER.com, which is now UGOplayer i believe, I was amazed, the first internet animation I really have ever seen, I was awestruck. After that, I knew I had to move on from simple pencil comics on lined paper, I needed to animate. I wanted to make a series just like his, with characters, everything. I searched the internet, and found more of his works on newgrounds.com, along with animations by

:iconcycon:

Granfaloon (creator of the real legend)

:iconegoraptor: (now I think a lot differently of him)

:icondarkkenjie: who I actually consider to be one of my better friends on deviantart now.

I saw another student use flash on his laptop in school, I was watching the entire time. I was amazed. And do you know what I was amazed of? Him making a circle move across the screen, my jaw dropped and I pissed my pants a little. Whats funnier is it took him about 5 minutes to make it work correctly, but.. I still was devoted to watch. I didn't get to try flash out for about 7 months after that, but when I did the process was everything I could of imagined.

I started off making circles moving across the screen with motion tween, after a while I tried doing more, I made a stick figure with the line tool ect, I put him on a skateboard and had him move across the screen crashing into walls ect. Eventually I saw a friend rotate, I was amazed by that, and he taught me how to rotate things in flash, this opened up a whole bunch of doors for me.

With more and more practice in flash, I started to move on to frame by frame stick figures, it was a difficult process, because I did not KNOW what onion skinning was for, or what it was for that matter. I would make two layers, L1F1 would have a drawing, then I would make another drawing on L2F1 which would be the frame after F1, then I would move L2F1 to the second frame, and repeat over and over, Layer Frame, there you go. I worked on flash, ect.

Moved on and on, then a good friend of mine was also interested in flash, who was a very interested in flash and had been a very good artist since the day I met him. We started a collaboration called Fight part 1 of 2. It took a long time, mostly to his laziness, but the frames he did do, were unique in style, it took about 7 months to actually finish it, and submit it onto newgrounds. It got on, we were very happy, we'll I knew i was.

Then after that, little things, that's what I would do, I really liked the anime FLCL, and at the time I wanted to animate in that style, it reminded me of Vinnie Veritas, so thats what I would try to do, and that's what I would do. Spring came, got the chance to animate in school, me and another good friend made multiple flashes. These flashes were never published onto deviantart I believe, and never made it onto newgrounds. We used a certain kind of toilet humor, something like that. It was unique, and I would eventually get into that "genre" or "style" in the late September of 07.

One of the animations was called AAA, abbreviated for Anal Alien Attack, starring girly US Secret Agent who was also a model for GAP clothing and a Vietnamese Soldier who both were guarding the white house when a UFO crashes, which would make them eventually go investigate. The flash was never finished, we both did voices which was a new technique I never really did in flash. It decieded to crash

The other flash animations consisted of two children dressed up as Hamtaro characters battled to the death while the one and only Babe Ruth comes in and beats one of them with a baseball bat. (Sounds pretty violent, I know.) Then, Rosy O Donald comes in, the sky turns red, she opens her mouth and begins to shoot donuts out of her mouth, but flash decided to crash after that, and that was also never finished. Another one was about a bulbasaur who was a judge, and had a trial against Micheal Jackson, yeah, the guy who recently died along with Billy M., of course you can probably guess what the trial was about. Hey, I enjoyed Micheal Jackson's Moonwalker for the Sega, the spider levels to hard, never got past it.

Summer came, for some strange reason I never really animated.

School came, i was a sophomore, end of September I don't know how or why, I was looking at an old flash file called PARK which I had animated on my school laptop in 06 and uploaded to my website on freewebs (which I had deleted, then someone registered for the account name, and had it redirect it to there website, which the more and more I think about gets me pissed, because the same thing happened to my newgrounds account after I had Tom Fulp delete it for me, cool guy.). ...... . , . , ,

So, I took the idea from the stick figure sort of guy in the flash, and made him into a person whom I call Little Boy, he was just skipping through the park, singing, then the Slim Jim guy's floating head emerges from a rip in the sky, and just starts swearing and yelling at him. My first flash in that manner, I loved it, my throat hurt badly after yelling into the mic', it was worth it, I shat out about 7 other flashes within the next month, one of them being my unwanted demise, sadly.

After that, I wasn't very happy, no animation. I did a work for a website, a text based rpg, they took the file, but I never got anything back, it was posted on the home page for a while, but absolutely nothing.I got f'd pretty badly, I lost the original SWF and FLA files for that. Oh well, animation wise, nothing. School came, I did stuff for that, and thats that.

This may be displaced, but during the early part of this junior year, I made about 10 dubs for youtube, these dubs were of the show Pokemon, hey arnold, and a few other things including zelda CDI and a drake and josh clip. These all accumulated over 100,000 views. The most being a Pokemon dub which had been viewed over 25,000 times within three weeks.

One of the things I wanted to think about was what if, what if i was still animating, where would I be? How would I be? What would I be? It sucks, I'd be somewhere, something great. Oh well.

If you were to ask what I think of the newgrounds community now, I'd have to say, I'm disappointed. I really cannot go the website, and read the user-pages, observe all of the top animators, and the way they talk, you know? It's almost comparable to watching the Fred videos on youtube. I get the same exact feeling, the same. Maybe it is because I have been lurking around the internet hate machine (as foxnews would say) to much.

This is getting blan, tasteless. The reason I wrote this, its more for me then for you. I might slap together a few of the things i did for school and submit this to the site, I might. But, personal life, that's not something I decided to discuss here, really.

I don't know, I've been writing this for a while now, if its to long, I'll get reasonably sad. Though I already am, I'm not sure when that will ever change. Well, they will. I'm doing alright.

Anyways, for those who read this. Cheers, here's to a good day, hope I was able to keep you positively occupied for a bit.

Later.
